Hi, I’m Grace! I’m an NYC-based theatre artist, graduating from Molloy University’s CAP21 BFA program in May 2024. I hail from Golden, Colorado, and my hometown is a source of pride and inspiration for me - growing up in a place filled with such natural beauty has taught me to seek out and appreciate beauty everywhere, especially in art. I’m a Capricorn, an oldest sister to 3 siblings, a dog owner, and an avid reader. I’m very passionate about education and hope to pursue choreography work and teach musical theatre/acting students in addition to performing.
I discovered my love for performing at 4 years old, playing Gretl in The Sound of Music at a community theatre. (That’s me to the left!) Since then, some of my favorite projects include:
Anything Goes (Hope Harcourt), Romeo and Juliet (Juliet), A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Helena), Sweet Charity (Swing), The Wizard of Oz (Dorothy), A Trip to the Moon (CAP21 - U/S Pandia, Assistant Choreographer), and Fading (1st Workshop, written & directed by Olivia Stanley - Daughter).
About Me
Artist mission
As an artist, I intend to be a vessel for the important stories we as people want and need to tell. I live with my heart on my sleeve, and artistic spaces have provided me with a safe community to be emotionally vulnerable and honest. My hope is to cultivate that same opportunity to be deeply vulnerable and human to others, both in process and performances. I want to bring people joy, courage, and release. I want to, through my work, guide people into thought and conversation about how we can be kinder and more forgiving with one another and ourselves. I want to be a part of telling universal human stories with universal human love and heartbreak and joy and fear and creativity.
